The Katadyn BeFree AC Carbon Replacement is a filter enriched with activated carbon that purifies and reduces chlorine content in water. It fits the Katadyn BeFree system and provides fresh and clean drinking water during your adventures. The filter contains hollow fibers that effectively filter out particles larger than 0.1 microns. It is perfect for filtering chemically non-contaminated water - bacteria, cysts, and sediments are blocked without issue. Depending on water quality, the filter can purify up to 1000 liters of water. The BeFree does not filter viruses or bad tastes, in which case the use of disinfectant drops is recommended.
